Today was the day!! We went to the bigger and best known italian comicon: the Lucca Comics and Game! It's an international festival of comic books, games and illustration ta has been running from more than 50 years in the beautiful city of Lucca (that it's just about an half of hour from my city, yes, I'm lucky!).
I started to go there when my daughter was about 13-14 years old and we wore beautiful costumes made by a friend of her and by my hands. We went there every year for more than 10 years but before today, the last time I was there was about 10 years ago because that time there were too much people and we couldn't see everything we wanted to see. This year I have to go there because I had to meet the owner of a publishing house, so today me, my hubby @paolobeneforti and my friend Elena were there!
Sure, there are a lot of people (about 80.0000 humans!!!) , but we enjoyed the first hour before to be too confused and too tired. ^_^
There were fantastic costumes and evene if I just came back at home and I'm really tired, I want to show you sme of them (I'll publish the others tomorrow ^_^).
There were a lot of different costumes, from the japanise comics to the faous games, from tv series like the Game of thrones to the Doctor Who! I watched the characters of Star Wars, steampunk people, barbarians and many others. It was really a party and I took a lot of pics! We went to the exhibition of Benjamin Lacombe too!
Tomorrow I'll wrote about the wonderful things I watched there, but now I need to placed my poor old bones on the sofa.
