I don't know if every woman has the same "problem", but when I want to change something in the room (for example to move the sofa in other place, to move some shelves, to change the color of the wall, etc) my hubby disappear.
I know, I love to change something in the room (usually in my kitchen/living room) and I try to do it many time during the year. We have many many books (about 2000) and to move them is really an hard work, so I can understand Paolo. Every time, he said me "Wait! We can't do it immediatly! We need to plan how and when we can do it. Keep calm."
He knows me and knows that when I have an idea I have to do it immediatly, but the marriage is a permanent compromise, so we always found a way to solve our different needed ^_^
Yes, few days ago we changed something in the kitchen/living room moving many heavy books, but I didn't change the colors of wall ^_^
Now I just discovered another solution that can help me: an online source to create a new (virtual) room!!! I can change everything, from the sofa to the color of the floor! Fantastic!
If you need it, you can see here: https://www.homestyler.com/ (you can see the rooms that you create in 3D too!)

WOW :) I do not have that need, so far... since I generally move a lot :D

I do this ALL the time! It's like a constant yearning for the perfect balance, or the perfect inner " feng shui"! I just never even consult my husband...when the yearning strikes, I just go ahead and move furniture...change where pictures are hung. He usually never notices!! But it makes me happy :-)

When I lived alone with my daughter I moved my furnitures for the most of the time, the picture on the walls and other things that made me feel ok, but after the marriage I live in my hubby's house and he don't want that I do hard works (even if, for me, these are not hard works ^_^) and he want to help me moving the furnitures, but doing this I change his "mental map" of the room every time :D

Hahaha ! I do I do ....it feels like travelling to move my " world" around. I guess my Ex hated that about me.

Sometimes I feel something inside me that tell me "Silvia, look! This room will be more cozy and nice if..." and I can't resist ^_^ I said to Paolo that it's just another way to express my creativity :P

Oh yes dear @silviabeneforti--I totally agree that it is part of the creative process. I also feel it is important to deep clean, keep the energy in flow, give ourselves a quick shift in perspective and satisfy our desire for change. I have always been a mover of my space, having furniture, artwork and linens that work in multiple rooms. Gratefully, those who have shared my space have been in appreciation of my desire and ability to create beautiful, functional and good feeling space. Thumbs up to you!! It's great that @paolobeneforti supports your love for making change.
