It's time for another content of the wife-life series! Today I want to talk to you about an important question: how can a couple live and work together every day without fighting? It's possible, believe, me and my hubby are the prof and I want to explain how we live and work together in harmony (almost) every day! ^_^
Sure, we love so much each other, but this is not enough when you spend many many hours every day with the other because you both work at home, in the same home.
The strategy I use is to go out sometimes without my hubby, for example to go to shopping with my daughter or to take some classes with my friends (for example, in the local library sometimes there are some nice craft classes ^_^). When I worked in the office I love to spent my free time at home, but now my home is also the place where I work and so I feel the need to spend my free time out ^_^
For my hubby is different. He doesn't like so much to go out for shopping (incredible, right? ^_^) and usually he dosn't like so much to stay between many people, so he use a different strategy to contrast the fight with me: when he understand I start to be angry for something he did or something he said, he "dress" his sad face. Sure, he stay in silence with a very sad ace. If I ask to him whats happens he reply to me "Mmmm... nothing... just a bit of sadness, but I don't know why". At the end, I always think more about his sadness then about the reason that made me angry.
I know it's a strategy, but I always fall for it! It happens also a couple of days ago. I was a bit angry with him, but after an hour of his sad face (have you ever seen the cat of Shrek?) I forgot why!
Just to know, this is the same strategy that sometimes I use with him ^_^
Love is... to know how to make your wife (or your hubby) less angry ;)
See ya tomorrow!

At least it is sad face, we don't fight often either, but when we do...
Stoneface! Cold... We are both bad about it.
Good thing we don't do it often.

We married just four years ago (we are a young couple of old people ^_^), but we immediatly both a sad face works beter for us. I never try a stoneface, maybe in the future I'll try if the sad face will not work again ;)

26 years? Wow! Me and my hubby met each other just when I was 42 and he was 50, so everyone of us had his/her own habits, but more of them are really similar, so we have just few reasons to fight (at now) ;)

Dear @silviabeneforti I have nothing to say as an unmarried boy😄. But I really enjoy reading about a couple's life.😊

When @winstonalden and I were both working from home it worked for us because we each have our own office studio spaces far apart in the house and thus always repsect one another's private space.
We'd spend the morning together over coffee and then be apart for the remainder of the day, coming back together at the end to share what we were working on.
Now, he works in the city, so I have hours and hours to myself and I must say I spread out a bit more then the entire house is at my whim and disposal. I'm not sure which I like better, as really we see each other about the same amount. Only I can't call out "would you like me to put the kettle on!"
IT helps when both people are introverts.
