Updating HOMELESSNESS SITUATION....

Well, as you know from my past posts,I lost my place to live due to roommate moving out w/o notice.

Things I have learned so far:
1.Here in Florida certain hotels such as Comfort Inn and Days Inn do NOT allow local people to rent their rooms.

2.If you don't book online,you will pay full price such as I did yesterday. Reason I did not,is because earlier that day

I booked a hotel, drove to it, and could not enter until 3pm. I booked it at 730 am. Also,since I BOOKED IT ONLINE,
lost the $61.00 I paid for it when I cancelled it.

1. The restrooms are atrocious in this area. I might write a book with pics taken during this homelessness thing.
   People are truly pigs.(and that is just the girls restrooms)

2. Do not attempt to sleep in your car here unless every window is open,which of course lets bugs in.

5.The ONE thing I need on this long journey is this :

That is the most important thing ever when homeless.
That and gas for your car.

This is my view sleeping in a church parking lot. Just a note. Don't park in a church parking lot on a Saturday night
and not expect people to show up Sunday morning. LOL

So yes. Still homeless. Reason? My son and I do not make 3 times the rent. That's it. criminal check is great.background check great, credit good. 1st last and security on hand. Though going to hotels is killing my income.
So we do not make,say,2700 a month together. $900 rent. For me to get an apt alone,I could afford $550.
SO they would want $1650, which I would have only $1300. see where this is going?

It is ridiculous,but as you go to each rental, you find out they are all copying each other. And now I am noticing that landlords are adding grass mowing and water conditioning to the list the renters have to be responsible for.
Which I can do,but,the rent doesn't get adjusted.
