You Are What You Do Every Day by Dirk Hooper

Love this! That is such a great mantra to live by.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading "On Writing." I try to write at a minimum of 1,000 words a day, and up to 4,000 when I can. Some days it becomes "difficult" to write at all, Life Happens. Kings' story about writing parts of Carrie in the laundry room, and throwing away his 3 rough drafts, then being encouraged to finish it by his wife. Incredible story.

One of your paragraphs:
"Most of us have to go to work, and have to take care of our family and friends. But the extra time you have is the fertile ground with which you plant the seeds of your future."

No one HAS to go to work or HAS to take care of anyone but themselves. Those are all choices you make; something you want to do. You never HAVE to do anything. Enjoy the time you have, and make those active choices, not regrets because you feel you have to do them.

The only thing you HAVE to do is die, everything else is up to you.
