Oh my, today was hard work! I am terribly exhausted so this post will be brief. Picking grapes doesn't seem like hard work, it doesn't even seem like hard work well you are doing it. Afterwards, though, I know its hard because I am so damn tired. I do it for Dionysus more then the money, as all things should be. What I do for the God! Its good and fun work for sure, I picked 51 buckets today! Summerhill Pyramid Winery is my favorite winery. They make all incredible wines, the owners family is super friendly and they are organic and biodynamic! Some of their wines are even vegan! (because they use some sort of clay instead of egg whites or fish oil or something to like 'fine' the wine, meaning take out the clumps.... bad explination.. whatever). I worked in the wine shop for a couple months, but I am not especially fancy enough for that, so now I work in the vineyard! Its pretty rad. These are the last couple days of picking this season, and all the people I work with are pretty nice! Everywhere you go at Summerhill, the staff are sort of like family :P
I understand why people work 8 hours a day almost everyday, but I think its seriously messed up. With our modern appliances and technology, there is no damn reason to work so hard. This is stuff serfs did in the medieval period.... But wait, maybe we are all serfs still and just don't know it? Haha, probably. I guess I am a couple steps ahead of that game. But seriously, I really wish people didn't have to work so hard to live.
Here are some cool photos to sustain ya

(me ready for raving)
(Sorry I dont know the source for this! I really love it, whoever made it is great!)
Talk to you guys later, whenever I am not too tired to think!
Picking grapes sounds amazing! I can see why it's exhausting, though. The most I've ever done is harvest figs for making preserves. Since figs are also sacred to Dionysus, I had a similar attitude about it. It really made the whole process very meaningful!
That winery sounds amazing, too.
