Lack of Motivation, I need help?steemCreated with Sketch.

So I've hit a bit of a wall and I'm struggling to find any motivation.

I'm sure at some point it has happened to the best of us but here is a little backstory on why I think I've lost my 'Mojo' as Austin Powers would say...

I'll be brief 😉

Me and my now ex girlfriend have decided to go our separate ways. After 8 years of being together we just grew apart. Even though it was mutual and has been as good as a break up can be it has taken the wind out of my sail.

I've not even turned my camera on in over a week and not posted on Steemit for over a week too!

That's unlike me!!

It sounds so silly but it has taken me days and days to actually get the umph to write this post. I really hope by posting this I can get out there and start trying to build my motivation back!

Have any of you guys been in a similar situation? If so how did you get out of your rut.

Give yourself a new project mate. Takes the mind off the old and puts it in the new. That said, breakups just take a bit of time.

Yes this is great advice thank you :), I will try my next project and time is always a healer i guess.

Time heals all wounds, but to keep it bearable until then invest your time in yourself and explore your hobbies. Exercise is an easy way to get out of your mind for some time, while improving your health at the same time. I recommend doing an actual sport over just working out, since it will be more easy to stay motivated.

It might sound a bit much, but start exercising 1.5 hours 6 times a week. In the beginning walking is also a valid option. You will start feeling better quite fast, combine this with the other usual stuff like eating healthy and resting enough and in a couple years, yes years, slowly over time you will be a totally different person.

This is such great advice, I think exercise is something I'm lacking and needing. Ive always been a active person and of late i'm doing nothing. I think this will massively help, thank you so much!!! Means a lot
