Now, I was here for every step of this process but my memory is a little fuzzy, so you will have to forgive me if I am short on details or get some wrong. My dad likes to take photos and he thought it would be fun to create a time lapse of the process.
It is pretty weird how this all can happen from a boy and girl sharing an ice cream! When I first saw this I laughed as anyone would, as watching mum get fat with me is funny. Mummy thinks she looks terrible but i like it. The video is only a minute or so and I hope you enjoy it.
Cool hey? The last picture was the first time I held daddy's hand and like I said to you the other day, I think whenever I hold his hand now it reminds him of that moment. It will be pretty excellent to look back on this in a decade or two and be reminded of the first moments I breathed air and what mum went through in the lead up.
The last pictures were taken when I was much older though as I spent nearly the first two weeks in the intensive care unit. It was a hard time on everyone but, compared to some of the other kids in there, I was a lucky one. It is sad to think about how random life can be in the negative especially for those tiny babies who never got a chance :( Mum and Dad were there with me as much as they were allowed and the nurses were great, so I wasn't scared.
Daddy's hands are still much much larger than mine so I am pretty sure I will have many more opportunities to remind him of that first day before I will have to let go and walk through my own life. I think my hands are almost as big as mummy's already, but she says that she isn't going to forget that day anytime soon anyway.
Do you have any reminders from your life like this?

Ahhhhh you made me cry!!!! That's beautiful!! I remember everytime I saw my dad I thought he was the tallest man that ever existed! He is still taller than me and I now think he's the grandest man that ever existed. Your journey in that belly looks cozy!

Perhaps dad's will always be the grandest.
It was cozy in but was a bit of a squeeze getting out.
