Daddy's Day, Daughter's WaysteemCreated with Sketch.

Today it was Daddy Day at home, which meant I made him breakfast and mummy watched. I am trying to teach her but adults are slow learners sometimes. It was fun to be in the kitchen though on a Sunday morning to whip up some croissants, bacon and eggs.

It has been a tough year on mum and dad as I am not always the easiest one to take care of. They do a pretty good job though, especially mummy who is always making sure that my foods are prepared so that they don't upset my stomach. I wish I could try some of the foods they were eating though as all of that fresh fruit looked great and the freshly baked croissants smelt amazing. One day I will get to eat all I want though, I just have to be patient.

Daddy is not very patient at times though, he would like things to go more smoothly in life and spends a lot of time trying to work out the kinks. When he is with me though, it feels like he has all the time in the world as he spends the moments next to me on the floor playing or holding my hands and spinning me when we dance together.

Lately, I have been making him look a bit silly. I have a baby doll and a bright pink stuffed bunny. When we are dancing I like to dance with them too sometimes. Don't tell but, I have been making daddy dance with them also and I refuse to dance until he holds them close and dances for awhile. Both of them together! Shhhh. He looks very, very silly but I love him for it. It makes me smile when he is willing to do whatever to make me smile.

Mummy helped me get him a present also. A silver tag specially made out of silver that says 'Along came the Bear' and the date of my birth. I am the bear. He calls me BunnyBear though because technically I am only half bear as mummy is full-bunny and daddy is full-bear. I am the best of both.

I am usually soft, cute and gentle like a bunny but when I must be, I can transform into a bear and be strong when needed. I think in my future, both of these sides will help me in life and I am glad I have two parents who are willing to nurture and help develop all of me, not just the sides they want.

Interestingly, my first word was Daddy, my second was Bear. I think I am going to have to be careful not to let the bear in me overpower the bunny though as it seems to have some strength behind it. But, that is a worry for another day, not for Daddy Day.

To all the other Daddy-Bears out there, enjoy your little bunnies. We aren't little for long.

I liked the artcile, it seems written from a small child Ponit-of-View, but the writing seems a bit mature for a child. It's interesting either way~

Have a nice day BunnyBear ~
