It’s only natural to give a fuck on what other people think or say about you…
It’s only natural to seek the approval of other people…
But there are serious consequences costs to doing so.
Today i've come to realise that most of times we accept the status quo for what it is because everyone around us does. We tip toe our way through life by doing things in order to please others, not because it's what we believe in. Eventually our actions, appearances, and lives become molded by how we think other people perceive us. How are these pants going to make me look? What will my colleagues think if I spoke out? Are those people talking shit behind my back? If I take this job, what will my friends and family think of me?
You have to stop caring about what people say on social media and in real life as well.
Most people don’t know what kind of life situations you’re going through. They don’t know your circumstances and even if they do, it’s none of their business.
They will tell you to do things and change the way you do things just because they want to talk.
I’ve seen a lot of people destroy their work or plans because of what others were telling them to do.
You have to be confident in yourself and in your decisions because at the end of the day it affects you, not them.

We now reserve our ever-dwindling fucks only for the most truly fuckworthy parts of our lives: our families, our best friends, our golf swing. And to our astonishment, this is enough. This simplification actually makes us really fucking happy.
