Angel Oak is a live tree located in Angel Oak Park on Johns Island near Charleston, South Carolina. People say the tree is anywhere from 300-1500 years old. The tree’s branches stretch out 17,200 square feet. The tree is 67 feet tall and has a circumference Of 28 feet.

It was easy parking and free to go see the Angel Oak tree. I would say put this on your to do list if visiting Charleston, South Carolina. It was a short drive away.

I took many photos of the tree that you cannot find elsewhere showing how large this tree was. I also enjoyed capturing various perspectives of the branches. You can see how small the people look next to the tree.

Watch out Tree Beard, Angel Oak is a bad ass. I had to pull out a nerdy ‘Lord of the Rings Joke’ there. But hey, I would want Anger Oak on my side for a battle. 8FA5EF62-AC37-4B91-9E44-4AAC08F9E6CB.jpeg

Woah, that's pretty amazing! 😮
I've never seen anything like it.

Treebeard was literally the JarJar Binks of LOTR.

He also gets offended to be called a ‘tree.’
So he must not like his name very much.
