The thing is, the dolls are made to look like human beings. Of course, they are nothing like them because they aren't alive, they have no life whatsoever. However, soon they will have artificial intelligence. They will become more life-like. Sadly, many people are so detached from humanity that they prefer a computer to a human being. The whole issue is quite distressing... We need love, connection and bonding with other human beings, not bits of plastic with artificial intelligence. It will never satisfy the human soul.
