💀🌺 HalloSteem MakeUp Contest | Mystery Flower Doll 🌺💀

Halloween is just around the corner and while scrolling through Steemit, I found the blog of @nicolemoker ! She recently announced her Hallosteem contest and I thought it would be a great idea to participate. Since I am not the best make-up artist, I thought about my very good friend @lisadang who is a very talented artist when it comes to beauty! I told her about the contest and she was convinced that we will do a fantastic job at creating a special look perfect for the Halloween season. I had literally no idea what to expect but she showed me 3 different looks but we quickly decided to take one certain design. Both of us are extreme nature lovers and our favorite season of the year is definitely summer! We thought about flowers because that´s what came into our minds when we mixed both picks together. But flowers are actually much more than just beautiful plants. Every type of flowers has a different character. I feel like they are giving me energy and could also reduce my stress level. But this wasn´t enough inspiration to create an unique look. What is a typical figure for halloween? Right, it´s a skeleton. So inspired by flower and skeletons, Lisa was already creating the perfect design in her head. She came up with a mystery flower doll. What a great idea! 

Now she gave me a shopping list and both of us explored the beauty stores to find the best products...

I didn´t know that you need so many things just to create a "simple" look which it was in my opinion. Flowers, different shades of eye shadow, a wig, white face color, eye liner, fake lashes and so much more. But I had a great teacher and found almost everything we needed. Of course Lisa had already the most important things in her bag to start with the base which was perfect! 

Let´s start with the transformation! 🌺💀

This is my bare face with no make-up on as you can see

Lisa first started to clean my skin to get rid of any oils or dirt on my face. Then she prepped my skin with a rosewater, herb and aloe spray to give it the extra moisture. Now she started with the light make-up which didn´t matched my skin color at all but was perfect for the look! A typical trademark of a skeleton is the big black eye socket. She painted my whole face with creepy branches and I quickly turned into something mystery...

Now it´s time to add a bit color.

Pink is surely a typical color for a doll that´s why we named our work of art - "Mystery Flower Doll"

It took us a few hours to create this look but it was so much fun as well!

Colourpop pink eyeshadow | NYX Ultimate palette | Colourpop pink matte liquid lipstick | Kohl pencil | Eyeliner | Colorista color spray

After we added the wig, the pink spray, a little bit of glitter and painted the face white once again, the mystery flower doll look was finally ready!
