We are super excited. Catzy was the most unusual rescue. At the outset he was far more laid back and affectionate than any previous rescue but when we tried to crate him for adoption days suddenly he became Mr. Hyde. This sweet, loving 6 month old kitty just couldn’t stand to be caged. I’ve never seen anything like it. Finally the lead volunteer with HPPL suggested we try a harness and a leash. Low and behold... Kitty dog! At one point we needed to crate Catzy for the end of an adoption day and he was just not having it. He made such a ruckus that it drew a crowd. The crowd quickly dispersed as soon as we reconsidered and releashed him. The only family remaining was a little girl of about 7 and her mom. This is Catzy’s new family. We are so incredibly grateful for them. 😁
