That's a high price for saving a tree 😁 but a great story.

I wonder though where did the money go to? I mean who owns the tree?

    The tree is owned by Dmanisi survival foundation https://www.facebook.com/dmanisisurvivalfoundation/ . After this case, they even put Eucalyptus​ as their logo.
