KNOW THE CARPFISHING... A LIFESTYLE DIPPED IN THE NATURE

in life •  8 years ago

Hi steemians :)

My name is Federico and I am an Italian boy of 26 years, today I want to talk about my biggest passion carpfishing. But more than a passion I should say a lifestyle. Because it is not just a hobby or a sport but it is a philosophy based on respect for nature and its protection. The carp angler loves everything that is part of nature, not only fish that catch, and release them free but any living thing around him during the fishing session in a lake or a river.

This is one of my most beautiful fish, a big common or  queen carp.

And this is a  mirror carp,  because as you can see is almost without scales, smooth as a mirror.

You might think that we do harm to fish, but I assure you that even though a hook in the mouth is not pleasant, we try not to force too much the fish. like the pictures you see that the fish is placed on a special water-filled padded mattress, the hook we use is barbless and backs off from the fish's mouth without tearing anything. the fish is weighed and photographed in a few minutes keeping it always wet, to be then released with care.

OUR SLOGAN is CATCH AND RELEASE!

In winter carp they eat very little, when the water temperature falls below 8 ° C, it is easy to eat our bait can be a sturgeon. Many anglers do not like sturgeons because they can be a real problem, the race of this fish is very difficult to stop and can get to break the equipment, it is surely the strongest fish. I understand with my experience, if there is a sturgeon in the fishing line. Personally I love this fish because it is the greatest challenge you'll ever meet in European freshwater bodies.

But unfortunately due to poaching these fish are very few. This is why the carp angler who releases the fish and respects nature, is fighting for the preservation of all species, contributing at the forefront of the water controls and funding their repopulation.

If you are interested in fishing in harmony with nature, send me I will gladly give you advice on how to approach a fishing session. You can contact me and see other fisheries and nature pictures in the facebook page of our team, https://www.facebook.com/TMFVicenza/

Great fish!!!

Thanks!

Haha man that's a monster . Where did you catch that sturgeon ? I'm fishing in Sweden mostly for Pike Perch ( or zander ) . I love nature and i spending most of time outdoors. Keep up

Thanks man :) ... I've fished Sturgeon in the park of the Brenta ... In northern Italy there are many caves full of water and with much bigger fish ... But in our country, unfortunately, due to poaching, there they are only a few Pike! 2 years ago a big Pike of about 1.5m broke my line :( It would have been the fish of my life ...

I did't know that Italy have that fish man . And i fish Pike Perch , not pike , it's a beast , check my blog here there is a picture of it : https://steemit.com/photography/@iggy/sweden-how-to-live-without-stress-a-short-recipe-for-succesfull-life

You're right, are different fish! I also saw in Italy fishing a large perch, but personally I've never caught one.
