The constant contemplation over choices is a daily challenge for all of us. The vast majority do well in choosing good nearly all the time. However whittling away of societal consequences has been changing that and continues so. Bad behavior if not corrected, especially early in life, desensitizes one to acting badly, making such further action easier and perhaps actually enjoyable.
