Dragonfly with blue body and yellow spots on its head, anyone know anything about this species?

Took my little honey for a ride up in the foot hills today and just as we were heading back 2 dragonfly's landed near us.

I grabbed my G.E. 600 and got a few pics before they flew off.

I've never seen a blue body on a dragonfly.

Notice the yellow dots on its head.

Nature is a mad artist!!
