What have I been up to?steemCreated with Sketch.

It's been awhile since I last posted.

Why?

This:

We have recently purchased a house and are in the process of renovating it from top to bottom.

I don't have time to describe all of what we are up to right now, but I am sure to tell the tale once we are done.

For now that last picture was the baby blue front door that had to go...

Now we have a nice sophisticated grey door:

Also we had a disgustingly dirty garage floor that looked like this:

But now looks more like this:

I say more, because well now it is full of our stuff while we work on the inside.

See we are working on doing several things, the kitchen being one of them:

Which is doing much better now that we have removed the old dirty drywall and have now a nice new mold resistant backing.

Anyways there is too much we are working on to go into great detail right now, but I just wanted to give you a taste.

Speaking of, hopefully, this dirt pile:

will soon be a tasty garden full of delicious greens and other things.

I will let ya'll know!

The future together is bright.

Congrats on the new house. Owning a house is one area that I do disagree with James Altucher on. Especially if you didn't over buy. Which is what James seems to have done, based on his writing.

Again congrats on the house!

Thanks!

Yeah there are pluses and minuses on all living arrangements, but as long as it works for the situation, then roll with it.

We had sold our other home for a profit and were able to put a fair downpayment and have extra for renovations.

The idea is we were flexible and had a good "in" for our last place and were able to sell at a hot time.

We are staying with a friend which facilitated selling before having a house to buy and allowed us to downsize to save money on monthly payments and lower interest rate.

Thanks!
