Second Day of Steaming

Last night I did another steam (not steem 😆) to help relax my nasal passages and loosen the mucus. I felt my nasal passages cleared up and helped me breathe better.

Steaming is good if you have colds or cough or both. It also opens up your pores. Lol. What I don't like, however, is that it hurts my shoulders from bending towards the pot and staying on that position for several minutes.

I was advised to add a quarter teaspoon of vicks vaporub into the hot water. It smells good but stings a bit to the eyes especially when you open the pot the first time and the surge of steam comes out. I read somewhere that any hot liquid is enough to do steam, like tea, soup, etc. So I was thinking if it's alright to add menthol candy to a hot water for steaming. 🤔

Anyway, I am already feeling better today. Thank goodness it didn't proceed to cough and most of all, not an allergy. What a very good news! I have less runny nose today even though I kept sneezing in the dawn. I wish I fully recover tomorrow or maybe tonight.
