But we are not focused on culinary tourism in Bukit Tinggi City, I am more interested in the clowns who shout to use their services to take pictures with clowns, the interesting thing is the clowns in BukitTinggi City are all children, I had time to ask asked them and it turned out that they were still in school and after school they became clowns as their job, they did this every day and even then for their own school fees, I was moved when they told me that, children as small as this were good at making money, I was really touched and saluted them.
Clowns are usually rented by visitors or tourists to take pictures, and once photographed with the clowns cost Rp. 5,000.
From taris Rp. These 5,000 clowns were only paid Rp. 1,000, while Rp. 4,000 more become the allotment of the owner of the clown clothes, which means that the children who work as clowns must find more customers to take pictures with them so they can get enough wages in one day.
I applaud the struggle of the Minang children in fighting for their education at school. as soon as they told me, I joked with them.
