City VS Island ? What Kind Of person Are You 🏙🏞

Hello Steemit Friends,

Are you a City person or an Island person ?. In my case, I’m a little bit of both. I love the thrill of the city yet It burns me out sometimes. The island is rejuvenating and calming but the excitements are missed.

Living in the city is very awesome because it brings together incredible eclectic groups of people. Many people live there on either temporary or permanent basis.A city brings in many professionals from many parts of the world for jobs, university studies, as well as enormous collection of non-profit organizations. The thing is; there is a lot to do!

In the City you have the opportunity to join any sports team. You get to enjoy any kind of food ever created, involving the best scene of food truck anywhere. There are museums and national monuments all for free! You can interact and meet new people from absolutely anywhere in the world. You know why? Any city is welcoming and everybody likes diversity.

public transportation in the city enables you to go to each major sporting event. The teams play out in the burbs. This makes it extra challenging for you. You can travel and walk everywhere in the city. You can as well ride a bike everywhere you feel like. There are various green spaces everywhere. It is truly an amazing experience to live in the city.

It is significantly important to note that in the city you can as well go to the vineyards, the beach, or even another cool city for a day trip. A seriously hot political debate can arise with your coworker/best friend /stranger on the Metro. Consequently, you can actually influence some national decisions by living in the city. You can do anything, be anyone and go anywhere. So, yeah, freedom.

The city life is far much better than the Island life. This is because in the city there are so many facilities, but in the Islands there aren't. There is better communication and a lot of opportunities for growth and development. For young generation, the city life is better than the Island life

Islands are homes to huge eclectic groups. People from all over the world mingle with the locals to form a microcosm of the Earth floating in the sea. Many houses are built on the beach and surrounded by the jungle. Here everyone says hi to each one they see. Taking your time to sit and watch sun set each evening is greatly encouraged. Living on islands require relaxation, conversation and meditation. The result: life is so enjoyable here!

In the Islands you can also take some daily trips to other beautiful islands in the land and call it work. You can actually be late for everything and amazingly blame it on the island time.

In conclusion, both City life vs. Island life have great incredibly amazing factors, so how do you choose? For me I choose both, even though I love city life more. But await a minute, who said you have to select anyway? Go and enjoy the best of everything everywhere. You Just go!

I Hope you enjoy my post

mountain man here also...lol city has good food...island is nice for a few days..but eh mountains...views are awesome...and seclusion

Exactly what I was going to say! Mountains are the best place to be.

@pastbastard Absolutely! :)

Mountains are good but I love her illustrations and in my opinion every place has its own advantages and disadvantages. Either city, Island, and Mountains are all good in there own way.

Hahaha I actually live on a little mountain here in Phuket. It can’t compare with the ones in Europe, South America Nor Nepal but yes mountains are awesome. During this time of the year I don’t even need to turn on the air conditioner. It’s pretty awesome!

@suerisue So, you live in the right place :)(: Cheers!

City person here for sure ;)

Beautiful post and really makes you wonder.
We all keep running around like headless chicken trying to get the most out of everywhere and secure our future. Alas what we forget is to enjoy that very moment.
Eventhough I am a "city kid" and has always been surrounded by the hustling and bustling of the busy streets and the sky high buildings, me and my family love to have an extended weekend get aways at nearby island.
The peace rejuvenates your soul it seems.

Awesome comment !! And Thank you for sharing !!! I see we all want something a little different from what we are used to. We acknowledge life as an explorer and crave to wander along this journey.

True, what meets to eye doesn't please it. It's the quest of the unknown that drives you crazy

Nice pictures.

Thank you !! 🙏🏻

photography was so super, The important thing we can enjoy wherever we are

True that !!! Thank you for your comment

Actually, I'm also a kind of both person. Live in the city most of my life and like to get out once a while but fear missing the convenience of the city if away for too long.

I am actually the opposite!! I was born and grew up on Phuket for 18 years. Now I live in the big city and I am just in love with the thrill of it.!!!

Ah... Phuket is nice. At least when I was there many years ago.
Seems both of us still prefer the city :-)

very sexy post

city won the the mach, facilitates of city island can never give you,i like your post very much, photography was so super,

Thank you so much !!😄

welcome dear, you done very good job on this passion i like it very much,

@suerisue,

After reading your post, I fell in love with both life. City life is unique in its own way, Island life is also very sweet but at some point you will discover the disadvantages are even more.

Thank you for sharing.

@omowunmi

You are very welcome !! Yes they both have their own uniqueness while deliver various joy and experiences.

I'd also choose both the city and a small island, and switch between the two every couple of months. I think that's the bet way to go :)

Island

The most beautiful thing I have seen in my life

Wow! Pink sexy

I am definitely city, but definitely enjoy the mountains and nature from time to time. =)

No Island ?

IF island was a lot easier to get to, I would definitely try to do Island a lot more. I will definitely try and make that happen, where do you recommend?

That's really hot ;)

excellent to meditate

I need both. Island and city. The important thing we can enjoy wherever we are. In every journey we always find a very beautiful moment. A very interesting post to read from @suerisue. :-) :-)

Yes exactly!!! Wherever you are, if your mind isn’t in alignment; not matter how beautiful the place may be, you might not be able to find that inner gallant and fulfillment you are searching for.

Yes very agree with your thoughts. The important thing must have perseverance even where we are. You are amazing @suerisue :-)

city all the way for me. but i think a good mix is good too, like Chiang Mai

Interesting post, thumbs up!
I loves both, I will choose city if I want to do some shopping and Island to get my mind out of my hectic world.

interesting post. everybody should like city and island life.

nature is giving us the best

Really nice comparison. If I am to be honest, I'm more of an city guy after all, but it all depends. If I stay in the city for a few months, the I would love to escape on some island for a few weeks - just to not do anything and rest, swim and sightsee,
but after I do that for a bit I actually become bored of this lifestyle and I would love to do something more engaging. So I guess, that I prefer city over the island in the end - but to fulfil my existence I need both :P
