QUESTions Guiding Me on the Quest for Answers in this World and the Next

in life •  7 years ago  (edited)

I feared asking questions in school. Even the thought of wanting to ask a question overwhelmed me with emotions such as intellectual inadequacy, resistance and judgment. In my own eyes, the need to ask a question defined me as being an under-achiever, stupid, and someone who will never attain to much in her life when it comes to a successful career. I erroneously believed that only those who are clever, smart and intellectually inclined don't ask questions.

Today, EQAFE exists. Every Question Answered For Everyone. This may pertain to our relationship with the mind, self, body, existence and beyond; yet it has been my life experience with questions that supports the very purpose I live as today.

My relationship with questions drives the fiery passion within me and what I do to support people to gain perspective and understanding in who we are, why we are here, how we can improve on ourselves, our lives and that of humanity with the access I have into existence and existence has through me via Portalling.

Questions have to this day, become my greatest source of support:

Questioning my mind, my thoughts, behaviours and personalities has lead me to strive for progress in learning about myself to contribute in my process of self growth, expansion, change and betterment in who I am in thought, word and deed towards myself and others

Questioning others’ tonalities, behaviours, words and reactions with understanding has supported me to instinctively react less towards others, take them personally less, and instead supported with my relationships in life flourishing more into mutual respect, support and regard for one another

Questioning beliefs, religions, spiritualities within the principle "investigate all things and keep what is good" has supported me to climb outside my own box of world views, challenged my own opinions, self imposed limitations to expand who I am and how I live in ways that better me and my relationship with life and others in it. This equally supported me to truly understand the meaning of having an 'open mind / self', which has allowed me to meet extraordinary people from all walks of life who have enriched my relationship with me, others and life itself in extraordinary ways.

Questioning everyday-life-little-things and events happening on a global level within the starting point premise of seeking ways to understand myself, life, everything and everyone within it more, has allowed me to become more solution-oriented. I thrive on approaching problems within myself and in life with understanding what it can teach me, so as to learn as much as possible in this journey and process of Portalling existence's understanding to people to support where, when and how I can in people thriving into their utmost self and life potential.

Questioning has supported me to journey into existence and beyond during Portalling. It was with questioning heaven's initial relationship with earth and humanity that started this process and journey we now have walking with myself, beings and so much more to develop, create and design methods and techniques to support people in understanding themselves, life and the world better with the prerogative of finding solutions from simple everyday life challenges to challenges faced on a global level.

It is questions that have to this day kept me humble. Knowing that I don't know everything has become a reliable strength, ensuring I will always learn and so grow, expand and evolve. Realising that others are in my life to learn more about myself and support / challenge me to be my best; has kept me humble in my self trust and courage to know I will always, when not understanding something, ASK or do what it takes to LEARN to finally have an answer to my question / need for understanding.

I will continue in my next post with:

The importance of who you are when asking a question. It is not so only the question that determines the answer you receive, but who you are within the question and much, much more.

Thank you :) Appreciate the comment

Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler.

- Albert Einstein

Thank you for sharing the quote.

While reading it a flood of remembrances opened up within me reminding me of the process I walked and was confronted with in a challenging way throughout the years. Looking at finding ways to share the information through the Portal in a way that it does not overwhelm people (which it oftentimes did in the beginning), but can utilized constructively utilized and lived in everyday life to make a substantial, real and visible difference over time and throughout generations.
Eventually, through trial and error with many throughout the years participating in asking more questions, asking to clarify information shared etc. we have come to effectively simplify the information in a way that many can immediately relate what is shared to themselves, their lives. Not only that, but is also understood and processed in a way where they can take the problems and challenges they faced, find solutions and actually implement them :)

I still however in moments find myself either sharing too much information, causing confusion or too little information, ending up with a response of confusion yet again. When you share too much, the heart of the message gets lots and too little, the heart of the message is missing or misunderstood. With now knowing what the balance means, as Albert Einstein so aptly states, it has allowed me to correct the mistake of sharing too much or too little information. I can immediately resolve it by sharing just enough for the heart of the message to still be retained and transferring valuable information to another person.

Thanks for the reminder and the comment. Grateful :)

I believe fear of asking questions is essentially fear of being seen as a failure. However, if you never fail at anything, it just means you have never tried anything new.

Also as many successful people have said over the years, failure is simply a means to get to success. So, I guess the moral of the story is go make some mistakes and learn by them and move on.

Since we're human, we are not perfect anyway. So be happy being flawed.

Yes I can relate to that. Brings back school memories where I was often afraid of asking questions when I was curious, uncertain and/or confused. Especially with the kids in the classrooms making fun of the few asking questions. Defining the few as being 'stupid' and what not, leading to a public embarrassment of being targeted by bullies. The effect of children amongst themselves when it comes to such interactions is in itself an extensive topic to explore :)

For now, my approach on mistakes has been to redefine the word for myself. I now, when I do have moments of reacting emotionally when making a mistake and having the familiar pattern of seeing myself as a failure try resurfacing within me (a pattern I have consciously walked through changing my life): see the mistake as a MISS-TAKE :)
A MISS-TAKE to me now is where I remind myself I just miss took a moment of attempting something. Didn't quite have the best take the first go to be successful. Then, I learn from whatever I missed in the experience. How I could prepare myself better or ask for more support from others to contribute in my venture. Then, I take the moment again, the opportunity to complete whatever venture I was initially attempting.

Sometimes I easily remember to approach mistakes in the above way and other times it is hard, especially when overwhelmed with the sense of failing. When reminding myself to breathe, slow down and stand within my redefined approach to the word miss-take - I have the motivation to learn. To see miss-takes as opportunities for learning to make the entire venture I am attempting as a journey of small successes by learning through miss-takes / failures into the eventual ultimate success of completing the venture / task at hand.

Thanks for connecting and the vote. Grateful to have had the opportunity to share my experience with the word mistake from you sharing your experience. See you around :)

Welcome!
