What exactly is authenticity? Well, it’s really just being genuine. In order to be your genuine self you need to be connected to your true essence.
But most of us for one reason or another have abandoned our true essence.
When it wasn’t acceptable to be who you were, in order to belong you had to give up your true expression. After all good children don’t cry, don’t get angry and don’t talk back.
So repression of your expression your true essence was squished away to maintain your essential bond.You know, we human beings are the most dependent for the longest period of time of all mammals. So in order to survive you had to give up YOU. You had no choice. You were completely dependent as a child.
Disconnected from your own essence your own authenticity you may feel lost, without purpose and like you’re spinning your wheels. Like there is some invisible force field preventing you from advancing and enjoying life.
The natural consequences that happen as a result of being disconnect from your authentic self, left unchecked, eventually lead to dis ease. Your emotions are not separate from your body.
Almaas a wise teacher says, “The fundamental thing that happened, and the greatest calamity, is not that there was no love or support. The greater calamity, which was caused by that first calamity, is that you lost the connection to your essence.” That is much more important than whether your mother or father loved you or not. That is the beauty of it.
You can’t change the past, but you can reconnect to your authenticity. HERE you Have a CHOICE. This RE connection will plug you in to the strength you need to clear up the dullness in your life. To finally know you can, do, be what you have been wanting. Full PERMISSION for SUCCESS everywhere you go.
