Avicii (Tim Berling) was born on 8 september 1989 Stockholm, Sweden. His mother was a famous Swedish actress named Anki Liden.
Avicii started off his musiccareer in 2007 with Dejfitts Label. Avicii was a member of the "Laidback Luke" forums where he refuned his distinct deep house style.

His stage name 'Avicii' means the lowestlevel of hell in Buddhism".In 2011 he entered into mainstream by releasing 'Levels'. In 2012 he released 'Sunshine' with David Guetta. In 2013 he released 'Wake Me Up' which was a chart topper worldwide. He also released Hey Brother (2013), Addicted To You (2013), Dreaming of Me (2013), A Sky Full of Stars (2014), Lovers on the Sun (2014).

In 2016, Avicii retired from touring due to health concerns. Avicii died on 20th April 2018 at the age of 28 in Muscat, Oman.
