IS IT OKAY TO MAKE MISTAKES?

in life •  8 years ago

Of course, but only as long you learn something from those mistakes.

We all are human being and "To err is human" .It’s a part of the learning process of life. Mistakes don’t always have to be bad, but the human reaction to making a mistake is usually a bad one.Even for those of us that strive for perfection, we will still flounder and make errors in judgment from time to time. Instead of getting down on ourselves for not being perfect or for making errors, we should use mistakes as stepping stones in our earthly education.

A man should never be ashamed to own he has been in the wrong, which is but saying... that he is wiser today than he was yesterday. (by Alexander Pope )

Mistakes are life lesson and we learn from it

We we come from our mother womb, we begin to learn about the word around us. As we grow up we eventually explore, try out different things.Did we learn to walk right after our birth? NO. We tried crawling, fell 1000 times and then one day we started walking.

You don't learn to walk by following rules. You learn by doing, and by falling over (Richard Branson)

Yes i agree it is hard to admit that you made a mistake, but once you do it feels so much better. You aren’t the only one that makes mistakes in life. Everyone does.Nobody is perfect in this world.Everyone has their flaws. So do we.

Forget trying to be perfect.Making a mistake is not the end of the world. It just means that we can correct ourselves and start again. You can reflect on your decisions and learn the right way from the mistakes you make. This is one of the best reasons as to why it's OK to make mistakes. They help you learn more about yourself and grow. Mistakes help you realize what is right and wrong to you.

There are no mistakes. The events we bring upon ourselves, no matter how unpleasant, are necessary in order to learn what we need to learn; whatever steps we take, they're necessary to reach the places we've chosen to go.(Richard Bach)

What more hurting is that younger generation doesn't have the courage to accept failure. when a student have some failure in exams they commit suicide instead to taking the failure and working hard to rectify that.

(These are some statistics taken from web )

If you live long enough, you'll make mistakes. But if you learn from them, you'll be a better person. It's how you handle adversity, not how it affects you. The main thing is never quit, never quit, never quit.(Bill Clinton)

In the nutshell what i want to say is "Mistakes fuels us".Once we commit any mistake we are influence to do better next time.Mistakes don't dictate our life.Forgetting to study for one test and failing doesn’t mean your college career is over. Mistakes simply mean learn and be stronger. Rebounding from a mistake is one of the best things you can do.

Nice informative post. Most successful people have made many mistakes and have failed severally before they got to where they are. Like that founder of Alibaba (Jack Ma) his story is inspirational. He failed so many times but kept learning, look what he achieved. Thank you for sharing :)
