"10-20" Filipino's Street Game

One of favorite traditional games of Filipino kids during elementary is Chinese Garter, a healthy game that girls loved to played especially during vacant period or before they are going home. But boys can played it too. And this one is 10-20 similar to chinese garter.

I go to school for the graduation PTA meeting and I remeniscing my childhood days upon seeing those girls played with a happy face and laughter. At my time chinese garter is my favorite pass time games.

How to play 10-20

First you need a flexible long garter or a string of rubber bands, and tied up to make it circle. Then two people need to stand from end to another, they are the "it" at the game.

They divided first the team with two or three, I didn't heard what they are talking about but I just clicking my smartphone cam.

And then they started to played like this, energetic physically moves.

You may notice that the string moving higher and higher from the ankle level, legs, knee and hips until at the neck they said. Really this game need a physically fit healthy body coz the game test your stamina, agility, jumping skill and need a flexible body if you want to stay at the game.

Glad to know that even thou we had electricity, internet connections and many young generations now a days are busy playing video games, dota etc. there are still young ones playing physically fit games. A lot of traditional and street games I captured today and I maybe share it to you at my next post.
