My 12 hour vacation in Portugal. 葡萄牙12小时的假日时光。

I had the pleasure of having a quick stop visit to Portugal whilst touring the Iberian Peninsula. Portugal is the westernmost country in mainland europe, it's Capital - Lisbon, is it's largest city. Despite being an inherently busy city - being the capital and all, we were lucky to arrive on the city's rest day which greatly helped me recover from the accumulated fatigue of travelling to somewhere new almost everyday.

We stayed at a hotel called VIP Grand Lisboa Hotel, it's a hotel that uses art aesthetics in its design and decor. Looking out the window from our room, we can see the cute orange roof tops of the city skyline as well as the multicoloured balcony's which draw attention to the eyes. This architecture add's an extra bit of pop to an already beautiful sunny Lisbon setting.

我和好朋友环游伊比利亚半岛的途中，我们来到了葡萄牙。里斯本是葡萄牙最大的城市，这座城市非常靠近欧洲大陆的最西端了。所以尽管里斯本有着与生俱来繁忙都市的氛围，我还是能够感受到它远离尘嚣的那份宁静。我们落脚的酒店叫做Vip Grand Lisboa Hotel & Spa，是一家带有艺术设计美感的酒店。从房间的窗外望去，就能看到里斯本一座座可爱的橘红色屋顶和彩色阳台的建筑，让原本太阳天的里斯本显得更加艳丽动人。

We decided that we would spend the last half a day in Portugal vacationing. Although we were very tired from constant travel, it didn't stop us from Lisbon's alluring sunshine and warmth. We changed into our swimsuits and went to the open rooftop pool to soak up the sun. Because this hotel had few guests, the pool area was completely desolate and we could enjoy it all to ourselves.

在葡萄牙的最后半天里，我们选择度假式的游玩。旅途的疲劳也无法抵挡里斯本惬意阳光的招唤。我们换上泳装，去顶层的室外泳池感受一下里斯本热情的温度。这家酒店的客人非常少，我们来到屋顶游泳池惊喜地发现没有客人在用，泳池被我们包场了。

Me and my friends have always dreamt of disappearing to the Portugese coastline and enjoying it's mysterious beaches, we decided to get a taxi and head towards Cascais, which is a coastal town home to many fantastic beaches, the one we're going to is called Praia da Ribeira. It's located about 35km west of Lisbon near the mouth of river Tejo. There, it's also home to Portugal's famous Port and Seaside resort. Also, there were apparently some scenes of a 007 movie filmed at the casino in the city.

因为我们一直梦想着藏在葡萄牙海岸线上的神秘海滩，所以我们决定跟着出租车司机一起去寻找卡斯卡伊斯的沙滩（里贝拉沙滩）它位于里斯本以西大约35公里，在特茹河入海口附近，拥有葡萄牙著名的港口和滨海度假胜地。据说在城市中的赌场，还有电影007的取景地。

The seaside is home to really high quality beaches and very clean water. Cascais is located on the east coast of the North Atlantic so it's beaches are yellow sand instead of white. The sand has become very erroded from the constant battering of waves that it's particularly fine as well as very soft.
The beaches are free for visitors to enter, so there are many tourists as well as locals who come to spend the day sunbathing. The bay is calm, and the water is very clean due to it's ecology.
这里有优质的沙滩和海水。卡斯卡伊斯位于北大西洋东岸，所以不是白沙碧水，应该算是黄色细沙。沙滩很干净，沙子受到海浪的拍打，变得又湿又软。这里是游人免费进入的，所以不少的游客和当地人都在沙滩上享受日光浴。海湾内风平浪静，海水是颇为干净并且原生态的。

By the seafront, are rows and rows of villa houses each with really exquisite decorations. Together they give a really aristocratic and noble atmosphere.

In a blink of an eye, it was already dusk, the sea gulls waddling along the shore really gave a sense of this place's tranquility and harmony, so much so that every concept of time just disappears. I quickly snap some last photos of the dimming scenery and i'm off on my way.
在沙滩边上有一排排装扮精致的小别墅，很少有高楼，散发着贵族气息的海岸。沙滩上漫步的海鸥让你感受到城市的宁静与和谐，不知不觉已经到了黄昏时分，我的朋友拿起相机捕捉到了沙滩上淡淡忧伤的色彩，在准备离开前为我和这精致的海岸合影。

For dinner, we journeyed back to Lisbon's city centre and made our way to the transport hub, Rossio Square. We found a restaurant at the square which attracted us because of it's crystal chandeliers. Portugal's reputation for delicious food is also well received, we ordered the most representative dishes which were Potatoes and Fresh seafood, both were absolutely delicious.
晚餐我们回到里斯本的市中心和城市的交通枢纽罗西奥广场，在广场边找了一家装饰着水晶灯的餐厅用餐。饮食也是葡萄牙最出名的文化之一，我们品尝了葡萄牙的主要食谱，马铃薯和海鲜鱼类，味道非常可口。

After dinner, we went for a walk around Rossio Square. Although some of the buildings were damaged due to Earthquakes, they have largely retained their original appearance to this day. The monuments accompanied by the water fountains and statues, stand to give each visitor a thought provoking account of its history and significance.
用餐后，我们在罗西奥广场上漫步。广场上的建筑虽然在大地震中遭到毁坏，但基本面貌仍然保持至今，美丽的建筑和喷泉依旧在优雅地讲述耐人寻味的历史。
