It's no news that a couple of days ago, students were shot dead within a school compound by their fellow student in Florida. This is not the first case scenario where guns have been used for mass shootings to kids and innocent civilians. Late last year, Las Vegas Nevada experienced a horrific situation where people were shot dead at a concert, a concert people.
While mental health, NRA, and all other sorts of legislation blame games continue, Trump has the guts to give a solution to this problem as enabling teachers in schools to have access to guns. How in the right mind of a leader is that a solution to mass shootings? Isn't it more like putting gasoline to a fire?
I really do not know who advises Trump but any person with logic would not allow the gun situation problems to persist. It's even worse than terrorism. Picture yourself walking down the streets of the supposed "super power" in the world only to be shot dead by a stranger yet have some people in government support the murderer.
I am not American but I do know very well that in some of the countries in the world, developing nations to say the least, civilians are not allowed to own guns only in the case of licensed guns. In Kenya, only the police are allowed to have guns, and not all police. You will never hear of the madness that's currently going on in such countries.
It's time Trump sobers up and ends this crazy gun problem once and for all. But how is he expected to do so while claims of funding his political campaigns was by NRA? Is money and power more important than human life? Whatever happened to humanity.

I agree, this situation is so crazy to me. I live in England and here you can get a gun if you have a license but it's very heavily restricted so it's very rare to find anyone who owns a gun here. Police don't carry guns, only specialist officers who are sent out in cases of extreme violence. So to see people putting guns above human lives is horrifying. I often wonder what this situation is doing for American tourism because anyone I've spoken to about the idea of going on holiday to America has said that they would never go there because it's too dangerous and that they would be too afraid to go because of the crazy gun problem. I also don't understand how anyone could raise children or start a family in that country, knowing every day when you send your children off to school that they might not come home - do the politicians who support the second amendment not love their family??

The proliferation of small illegal arms in Kenya is a its highest, the government has sounded an alarm. Criminal gangs in slums brandish them on social media all the time and these are teens still in school!
If a major disarmament isn't done soon, we might experience a deadly shooting in an institution of learning one day.
