Happiness and Joy

Romans 15:13 NKJV "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."

Happiness is to keep us sweet.

Have you ever smiled at somebody and you felt like you went to war with that person? Now, you are wondering what you did? You felt uncomfortable because of his or her anger and bitterness were being blasted and magnified over the speakers. Obviously, this person is crying out for help and needs God’s joy and happiness.

Many do not realize God has a sense of humor and it is written. For instance, there is baseball back in the day in the Bible. He said, “In the big inning.” Another one, He said, “cut the bull!” My father told me once Moses got tired and he threw the Ten Commandments that are written on stones. I said why? God kept telling him to do this and do that non-stop. Elijah wanted to kill himself because of a woman that was after him. Jezebel was so evil that we can picture her head like Medusa (snakes) as if she had magical power. Isaac was known for lying. Like father (Abraham) like son. The Lord laughs at the wicked on His throne. Imagine how he is laughing out so loud (lol). Rahab was known to be a prostitute. Before we accuse her, she was known to be the great grandmother of a great king David. Also, kids were calling Elisha bald head and two bears mauled 42 youths. They were disrespecting a man of God and he represented God's power. Who is laughing now.? God laughs at the foolish. Recently, I wrote a blog about "are you a seed or a rock?" She responded, “rock hahaha.” Jesus is a rock. She looked at herself unmovable, headstrong and powerful. I could have preached to her that the seed is your future, but instead I laughed with her. Stay lighthearted.

Friends to bring us joy.

Why don’t we have joy? Are you hanging out with people tolerating you? Are you broke to the point they have abandoned you? Do you have too many issues and problems?

Listen, we need to keep our eyes on people who will celebrate us. Even nuns have more sense. They went to a ball game and they sat down in front of these drunk men. One said, in Dallas there are six nuns. Another said, in Colorado there are three nuns. And the last one said, in Nevada there's one nun. After hearing their comments, one of the nuns turned around and said why don't you go to hell there's no nun there. Stay away from the devil’s orchard if we do not want problems. Anything excess is the devil’s playground. I’m reminded of a Chinese proverb regarding snakes. The painter was painting a beautiful snake and he started to add legs to it. Keep it simple!

Whether we have money or not, our joy is not tied into it. As long as we connect with the Holy Spirit, we will have joy and peace that surpasses all understanding. The reason that people are after money is that it gives them a sense of power. If you have more of it or you're rich you feel great. Money is power and buys everything, however, what people are after is power and greatness not money. Money is just a tool to acquire what we were born to be, which is to dominate (power) the earth not people. We have both already through Jesus Christ. The secret of the kingdom of God is faith (trust fund or money). We have access to the kingdom. Just ask? People who get jealous of us is because they do not ask. It is written, we have everything we need according to the power (Holy Spirit) that is working within us. We really do not have any problems or crisis. We need to look at it as an opportunity. Crisis means change. When there's a problem we are going through another season. That is all! Go on. Keep walking. Create a solution. We are problem solvers. God believes in you and I believe in you to do great things. Start seeking friends that will lift you up today!
