Hello Steemians!
It's my favorite day of the year. I a.b.s.o.l.u.t.e.l.y LOVE Halloween. It's the one time of year that us "freaks" get to truly be ourselves, without being harassed or catcalled.
The kids did have to go to school today, and even though they are not allowed to wear costumes (what is up with THAT?), I did get to do Paige's makeup. Which I would happily show y'all a picture of, except she pulled a major celebrity stunt on me. "No flash photography please". But, I do have pics of my sparkling Vampire look.
I felt like channeling my favorite alternative girl crush, Emilie Autumn, today. If you don't know who she is, here's a taste:

Or as far as we get before they fall out ROFL.
Dinner will be pizza rolls, tater tots, and chicken parmesean with roasted veggies. The cauldron of candy is already waiting for the free for all to begin. Any bets on how long it will take the kids to fall? I'm guess they will go, one by one with my oldest daughter being the last one to go. She is always the last one up.
At some poin the hubby and I will sneak off to do our own thing. Usually it's poker and drinks with the family, but I think this year we are goind to go low key and do a grownup movie and dessert... maybe chocolate silk pie?
Since Samhain actually doesn't fall until November 7th this year, we will be doing the family dinner then.

I create every couple of weeks an overview of all my music posts and deliberately do not sort the music based on genre or style to allow readers to click - for them - unknown artists and music and in that way support them to experience new genres and styles :)
