𝕥𝕖𝕒𝕞𝕙𝕦𝕞𝕓𝕝𝕖 // 21st December // today is a good day because we get to hang with steemians! :)

i took a day off yesterday.

I missed blogging thou, I really did, felt like something nagging at me all day to get done in the background but I just could not execute any more mental time for it so I took the day and did some street life.

We totally screwed up on the fiat currency front not having any paper money for the bus so had to walk (1 hr, 5 miles) into the local town, the atm machine was out here so that kinda screwed us but I did feel really awake and looking forward to coffee and breakfast when we go there.

dayle had a package to send back in so we did the whole ‘pass the parcel’ thing, a great service because they refund you in hours once they know they have it and have scanned and done all the receiving work to send back to amazon — it’s a solid service, she has new one’s (bad ass hiking boots) coming today, we both are down for that exercise life in the new year.

That being said yesterday turned into like a 17k ish day I think all told so certainly feel spritely today, also we picked up some cod liver oil and ginkgo leaf so I’m trying to get my focus on, supposed to have them three times a day, ironic that I might not remember to take the other two ;)

Everything at the moment feels good, income, work, the near future and that makes me super happy and to top it off we get to meet up with some steemians this afternoon for drinks in a fairly local pub to us, bloody brilliant so expect photos from that today — christmas drinks, yes! :)

i thought I was gonna have an issue with bella’s main present not coming in time but it looks like it’s gonna be here today after all instead of saturday when the post office place shuts at midday, super thankful for that, I’m just hoping that bitcoin can go up between now and then however because I need to get some funds together for tomorrow.

Tomorrow is a packed day, picking up Bella, light breakfast, shopping, christmas lunch together — me, Bella and dayle and some more shopping for odds and ends and then we have our Bella christmas on saturday morning instead of Christmas Day, then chill for the rest of the day and then maybe Christmas Eve lunch out or town maybe for a couple of pints of that mango lassi and lunch together — basically a bunch of food and drink and then our own Christmas Day actually on Christmas Day together :) YAY!

Wow, I’m actually excited for once. I can’t remember a time when I was excited for christmas. They are normally a muted affair really, I’ve had many bad ones over the last five years that having a good one is a real surprise — maybe it’s because @dayleeo is here, maybe it’s because Ella is healthy and doing well at school, that I have finances through blogging and some clients for once that’s making me positive or maybe I’m just removing a lot of the drama I had hoped to remove this year.

not sure, but I feel mentally better, of course I have my down and grumpy days (dayle would say that’s everyday maybe) but those are often fleeting and I’m either back into blogging or planning something — we have gotten so many things fixed up this few days alone it’s actually insane.

we fixed up the raspberry pi that was broke, turned out to be a power supply and not the pi so I have two pi 3’s — I’m gonna mobilise that for a second camera as part of a four camera setup, just need to work out the logistics of what’s gonna be wifi and what’s gonna be wired in, something for the new year.

One of the other big things is that we have fixed up is the router, I’ve been wanting to swap out an ageing, smashed, having to reset it multiple times a day which just messes my concentration up to a wifi/wired faster, up to date AC wifi enabled router — so far, it’s awesome.

It was super easy to setup and I’m really happy with it, just hope we don’t run out of bandwidth or some weirdness because I’m pretty sure I’m getting unlimited 4g when I should not tethered on it, i have a few ideas why it’s not metering me but I dare not share them with you incase they plug that hole! :)

We also got a mega deal on wipes for like hundreds of them (you need these if you live a semi-van life trust me) and also boxes of noodles, just general like life supplies, happy to have them, we need to get a few other bases covered but after the next few days we will be in lock down for the christmas period, can really reflect on the year and discuss the next one, hope me and dayle can do that as a vlog for here.

Feeling good people, feeling good. I hope you are too in your neck of the world, wherever you are. That life is treating you fantastic and you are healthy and your family members are well — hug those extra tight over these coming weeks, make sure they know how much they are loved.
