Happy Birthday Canada- why is it a great country for my present situation?

Why is Canada a great Country?

Hey everybody, so I am not sure if I have mentioned this before but I was born in Canada, moved to Ecuador when I was 2, then to Belgium when I was 10 then to Poland when I was 12, then back to Canada at 13. (deep breath and continue...)

In Canada I stayed until I was 18, right after finishing high school, left to Poland to study medicine. At 22 decided to quit med school and come Back to Canada.

I am now 27 and still living in Canada. I don't even know how I got back here my self, but I guess life just work in mysterious ways.

When I was young Canada was not my favourite country, Ecuador was. I had my emotional attachments there with all my closest family and friends being there. My dream for a long time was always to come back to Ecuador to live for a while again, ever since I was 10. I had a pretty strong bond with Ecuador.

It actually too me down a big downfall into depression and some bad times, felt pretty low, but it didn't kill me, it only made me stronger.

Now, I have come a long way and I no longer cling to the past, instead I see the amazingness of my present moment , I appreciate everything life gives me, good or bad. Sometimes you don't get what you want but you get what you need and I guess what I need right now is to Live in Canada and enjoy it every day..

The biggest reason why I think Canada is great is because it is the perfect example that people from all over the world can coexist in the same place in peace.

Canada might not be the happiest country nor the most advance like the Nordic countries. But it is one that has the most variety of ethnicities and we all respect each other and live as one nation.

I have heard Canada has the most polite people in the world. Canadians say sorry for everything. It's actually pretty funny. Reasons to celebrate Canada

We were lucky enough to enjoy a sunny afternoon at the Canada celebration in Burlington, Ontario.
