This is amazing!
I'm on the road now (Dallas this time) and just amazed at how much better traveling is today than even a few years ago. Here are just a few of the ways it is better:
Much faster speed common for Net access. Notice the graphic of the speed I'm getting on my cell (mobile) phone. This is not on the hotel Wi-Fi, but through my carrier T-Mobile. This kind of speed was not possible even on most landlines a few years ago. I'm getting this kind of speed in many places and the cost is $10 extra on my plan / month. Thank you, T-Mobile!
Uber, Lyft, and more. We use Uber and Lyft a lot as we bounce around the world. It is usually faster, more reliable, and a whole lot cheaper than the traditional taxi companies. I've been traveling professionally for over 35 years. Taxis often are good but, too many times we have that "cab ride from hell" that is just terrible. Since I've been with Uber & Lyft, not only have the rides been much better and a lot cheaper, but the drivers are more friendly and kin. I love it!
Grocery deliver to your hotel room. As I type this we've placed our order for some groceries we want in our hotel room for this extended stay here (about a week). It is wonderful to have someone go to a local grocery store, purchase the items we want, and bring them to us here at the hotel. Yes, it is significantly less expensive than hotel food, but even better, we're getting the foods we want. Even with the delivery fees and extra costs to use the service (we're using Shipt which is readily available in many communities in the States), it is a bargain on the road.
No traveling is not perfect. It has a lot of challenges still. The biggest is the abuse you have to go through at TSA way too often as you lose any rights to privacy or common respect. However, the free market is giving a lot of boost to make it better with these three features.
I'm thinking more traveling would be in order and these types of additions make it much better.
Thank you for joining me!

Technology goes well with travelling, who knows what you might invent along the way,not to talk of the exciting new people you get to meet,
I don't travel that often though
