Ross Ulbricht Update with Lyn Ulbricht

Many are familiar with the story of Ross Ulbricht who built a website called The Silk Road. Ross says his motivation was to provide privacy and anonymity to users. He was opposed by many in the establishment because of various reasons.

Currently Ross is serving a sentence of two life terms with no chance of parole, plus 40 years, plus more than a $183 million fine. Many people feel this is unjust and he should be given another trial as he committed no violence and the government suppressed much of the evidence.
In this video I talk with Ross Ulbricht’s mother, Lyn Ulbricht, who shares an update on what happened with the government seizing his funds in bitcoin. She also shares about his current situation at a federal prison in Colorado. Most positive is that Lyn tells us about some exciting news for a second Free Ross-A-Thon planned for next year to raise funds for the Ross Ulbricht defense fund.

You’ll want to watch this and discover what is happening and how you can be involved to help not only Ross, but many others who have been imprisoned for non-violent crimes. Lyn shares from her heart what is going on and what she feels should be done.

The precedent set in this case is a slippery slope that could ultimately imprison anyone who has rented a property to an individual that has used it for illicit acts. It needs to be undone.

You are absolutely right, cactusclef. This is about Ross, yes, but it is also about everyone who interacts in the world. Using the precedents they have set in this case, no one is safe. Thank you for sharing.
