Fizzle Friday | Rick Astley, Salad, & Trip to Health Store

I was out in the construction areas again today for work. It’s always kind of exciting being around such industrious sourroundings. The clacking of hammers, the loud low hum of generators and air compressors.

Today was a special treat too, because usually there will be a small radio tucked away somewhere in the house, usually playing Mexican music or sometimes hip hop.

While there was Spanish music playing today, there was a small deviation when Rick Astleys “Never Gonna Give You Up” started playing. I love that song, and the random electrician in there seemed to also enjoy it, and before we both knew it we were both humming and dancing along to it pretending not to notice each other, lol.

It’s one of those songs that’s just so great, nobody can resist its charm and catchiness. It truly is a classic piece of pop music and it deserves to be more highly regarded than as a tired old internet prank.

After work, I headed over to the local health store to get some vitamins and stuff. Lately I’ve been feeling a little “drained” and not quite up to 100%, and I think it’s because I was sick for most of the month of January. My body has been tapped of the good vitamins and minerals needed to power and protect my cells.

The stuff I got wasn’t super expensive like I was afraid of, and the nice lady there even dug our a coupon I didn’t know about to save even a little more money!

Visiting the health shop got me on a bit of a health kick, so when I got home I made a huge salad with a lot of ingredients. It was good but I couldn’t finish it. I don’t think I even ate half of it! Well, that just means more leftovers to enjoy tomorrow I guess!
