BUDDHIST STUPA

It was an early Saturday morning
I had decided to make myself
some mushroom tea
and see where the magick would take me
I was eager to learn
the lessons on the other side
they were waiting for me..
I could feel it..

While drinking my mushroom tea
I sat in my yard by the acequia watching the water rush by

the neighborhood
in the early morning hours
are free of human sound
and instead nature is speaking..

because of this*

early morning has always been my favorite time to rise
it is called the Amrit Vela
when the heavens are perfectly aligned
sharing its magick with the earth
and her people

Most humans are asleep
during this time...
and because of this

this is when I spend my time in prayer ~*~

As the sun began greeting the earth

I arose from the magick of the acequia
and was called to take a shower
and quickly get ready

I got into my car
not having a destination
but allowing self to guide self..

I arrived at the stupa pictured above

My intention was to sit in the stupa
and allow the aura on the Buddha to enter..
I was eager for the secrets of the heart*

I took off my shoes and entered
the stupa
to my surprise it was full of people
with a high lama
sitting in center in front of the Golden Buddha

I was waved to sit..
I was handed a book of prayers
written in tibetan

I sat and chanted for hours..
with the high lama
leading
all who gathered
to the feet
of

The Bodhisattva of Compassion
