The LifeStraw can filter up to 1,000 liters (264 gallons). This would mean, if you used the LifeStraw every day, for all of your drinking water, it will last for approximately one year. If you just use it for travel and outdoor activities, it will last much longer than 1 year.

The LifeStraw Steel can filter up to 1,000 liters (264 gallons) and the replaceable carbon capsule should be changed every 3 months.
How will I know when the LifeStraw Steel has reached the end of its life?
