The Show Must Go On

As life goes on and you get older, things seem to get harder, your life choices have more of an impact now on you and on others.

Back in the day, your hardest decision was who to go with to the party or which girl you should hit on.

You grow in the vision of what your parents believe is the correct way, not knowing that you are moulded in a certain way to ensure they do not suffer any embarrassment from their family and friends. You are brought up thinking a certain way and thinking a certain way.

Its funny isn't it when you go against everything and everyone you become the black sheep but when you step out of the vortex everything is clear and you see that most if not all your family and friends live in a bubble and are just in that line waiting to die, tunnel vision!

I'm Mad and I'm disappointed at my family that they have refused my life choices, 1 side of my life career business is going really well, reaching milestones that I never thought I would reach. on the other side, my family see me as doing wrong that I have left them, moved out and started my life with who I pleased.

They said if you want to get to the top you're going to have to leave behind your closest family and friends, you are going to have to be alone most of the time, people will hate you, people will say things about you. I didn't believe it but Gees was I wrong.

I have finally got used to not searching for approval, or acknowledgement from others and now I feel like I've crushed my parents now that I do not need anything from them. Not that I have depended on them much, from buying my own phone to buying my own car to working with them in restaurants and helping them where I can.
