A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

---

My name is Gabriel J. Almeida and I was born on March 13, 1992. I am a scriptwriter and director in training at the National Experimental University of the Arts (UNEARTE), but I consider myself an integral artist.

I like to travel The details. Smoke. Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Takovsky's films. To camp. Cigars. The warm candle wax. The breeze. Music. Dance. The night And the dawn.

I have experiences in the area of ​​graphic design, advertising, social communication, performance, writing, music, audiovisual and recently I am very interested in photography as a means of social expression. I find myself taking up the study of audiovisual as a resource for mobilizing and massing content.

ABOUT MY RESEARCH

I maintain a rigorous line of artistic and scientific research on the effects, uses and functions that the collective unconscious play within the new creative social structures in the midst of the technological boom, specifically in Latin American societies.

Use as material didactic references like "the theory of the spectacle", "the hero of the thousand faces", "the poetics", "the consumption of the pleasures", "semiology", "studies on the metaphysics and the art"; essays and papers according to the subject of interest; besides several documents of religious nature extracted and selected from the most diverse sources to complement my search.

In short, my study tries to find a nexus between nature itself in the creation of stories, which is a necessary necessity in humanity, from its beginnings as a species, to narrate real or magical facts to give shape and substance to its "consciousness of the world, "as well as the evolutionary transit of the" anima "(soul) that dwells through each and every one of these stories made by man.

I try to discover, through art, evidence of transcendence as the ultimate and inevitable destiny of physical and mortal matter.

My Opera Prima as director and screenwriter was in the short film "La Búsqueda", 2014, with the collaboration of the theater actor and professor of UNEARTE Ludwig Pineda and the renowned actress Verónica Cortéz.

After working in a series of commercial spots, advertisements, audiovisual, shorts and documentaries in multiple areas of development I return my labor as director. In the following opportunity that I had to direct, already in the year 2015, I worked in the short film "Mujer", Erotic and independent short with view to a re-launch of end of 2016.

I specialize in journalism photography and graphic design directly working for the Mission Culture (Misión Cultura) and the Research Institute for the Development of Art in Venezuela (IIAVE), after a mere pause of management.

Subsequently, I devoted crucial time to the study of narrative and poetic writing. In addition, it investigates alternative means of transmedia communication, new educational models and policies of social transformation.

I collaborate in the cinematography and editing of the short films "Distances" and "Like every day". I realized an artistic performance in the audiovisual piece tribute to Charles Bukowski that takes by name "Terrenalmente Bukowski".

I was Coordinator of the Division of Graphic Design of the Ministry of People's Power for Education. At the moment, I am audiovisual director and video editor in the National Movement "Somos Otro Beta".

WHAT COMES

After a process of self-discovery and deep introspective reflection, I took the initiative to fund an entirely new art movement with several independent background artists.

ARS MAGNA INTEGRAL ARTISTIC MOVEMENT

This proposal tries to claim of art as a fundamental means for the integration, unification and development of societies. Currently, the Movement is in the first phase of development. We are organizing the "ARS MAGNA" Royal School of Art and Aesthetics in the strategic areas of the communities of Miranda State and the Capital District, Caracas; the ARS MAGNA PLAY transmedia communications platform; the Royal Manifesto of Art and Aesthetics ARS MAGNA (Manifesto de lo Real).

Everything, with the intention to promote, to project, to manage, to produce art; reinvent the world of communications; and aesthetic education.

As an audiovisual producer, I start the production process of the project "VIDA", short fiction. Development of an experimental adaptation of contemporary dance for "La Sonata del Alba", original by Cesar Rengifo. I write, in addition, a novel titled "The Last God" that advances from 2018.
