I've had a dream for a couple of years now. Well at least two years.
Started going to gym for 4-5 yrs ago and running for 4 yrs ago. After that my life has completely changed. I started eating healthy food, less sugar, white flour and dairy products. Stopped smoking and drink alcohol quite rarely.
I feel much better, have added some weight. Yes, added... I have always been tiny, 154 cm and 8 yrs ago only 42 kg, these days 52 kg :D
I feel soooo much better now and have lots of energy, am happy and positive person. So I thought, why couldn't I help others to feel same way. Help them towards there dreams. I usually run in a bigger group and there are runners from several different speed groups and not all of them run that far either. But when I see someone when they finish a 10k or half marathon for first time or for tenth time I'm always so happy for them. Could just hug them all!
If someone gets tired I try to cheer them up, help them on their way, even if my own run wouldn't be that good because I've helped someone else to achieve their goals.
So now I've decided to take a course for Personal Training! That's what I wanna do, I wanna help others on their way to a better life. I'm not a port type for a PT-person. I'm 43 yrs, soon 44. I have never done some sports as younger, I have belly fat, I have sellulites on my thighs, but I love to work out. I love the endorphins I get from it and I think that's enough. And of course the fire I have for training and running.
I'm not gonna leave my 9-17 job yet, because I can take this course on weekends and hopefully even train others on evenings and weekends. And who knows, it might be by new job after some time.
This course will start in February with first part on the whole program. Then I'll have to take a pause for spring and summer because my running events are on same weekends as the course. But I can continue with courses in August-September again and will be done by next Christmas.
Exciting or what???!!!
Good for you! Wishing you the best on your classes
