YOU ARE THE CHANGE- Hi my name is Tracey..I am new to this so please be kind..haha..I hope to bring many things to others on steemit, as I have a lot of to offer on different topics ..

Hi my name Is Tracey.. I am new here.. and I feel I found something that I have been looking for..I love to write and help others..I always wanted to write a book but it always seemed so daunting to me..so here I am..maybe to help someone along the way with just everything I have learned in life...

I am from NYC, grew up on Staten Island, I grew up poor, in an apartment that many people could not even fathom..I struggled through with many challenges..the list is long..divorced parents..Narcissistic Mother..Alcoholic step father..and lived on welfare..but I struggled through..dropping out of high school at age 16 and started working full time...I started work at the age of 12..shoveling snow in the winter for the wealthy..delivering newspapers..anything I could do to make something for myself..I did volunteer work at the local hospital as what they called then a candy striper..not stripper folks..haha..striper..I worked in the geriatric unit..and fell in love with the elderly..the forgotten as I would say..I then got a full time job at age 16 at Wendy's ..haha..I was a Wendy Girl..I was the one who would be dressed up with an orange yarn wig, blue and white striped dress..I did cancer benefits that Wendy's back then would sponsor..I handed out balloons to young children with cancer..all these things got me out of my home..and I felt good at making money and doing for others as well..at age 18..I wanted more..more money so I could live outside of my home..so I taut myself to type on an ancient typewriter..a black heavy metal typewriter where you had to push down on the keys and had a real ribbon..crazy..but I did it..I went into Manhattan and signed on with Kelly Girls..a temp agency to start as a receptionist..I got my first job at Citibank..and finally moved out at age 19 with a long time friend and became roommates...I met a man along the way who introduced me to the life of TV production..He was a sound man..boom guy...his step father an Oscar winner..and with him is where we collaborated on a screenplay..yes folks I wrote a screenplay..haha..ok was not picked up but I did write it..as writing had been a passion of mine since I was young..so I did Production Assistant work as well on some TV shows..and a music video...I moved up in the financial world and became a personal assistant to the top Analyst in NYC for Conglomerates.. I was his personal assistant , accompanying him to work on conferences..so I did a bit of conference planning..2 being held at the Plaza Hotel in NYC...I got married, had a son, got divorced and then met a man a CFO and was on my second marriage...along the way my father passed away from a botched kidney surgery..the story was told on 20/20..He donated a kidney to his wife and he died during the surgery as he bled to death as a result of a very arrogant doctor..his wife the next day then rejected his kidney..I then started working on getting a law passed in NY to have Surgeons stay in the hospital until their patient is awake and in recovery..that law did not pass..but Colombia Presbyterian Hospital did change their policy..I felt good that my writing as being published with a blib in the NY Post and it was titled the Great White Wall of Silence..I was instrumental in making that change in that hospital so that could not happen to anyone else...my then husband was transferred to Indiana and for the first time..I was out of NYC by age 32..I could go on and on..but lets just say..I have experienced life poor, middle class and wealthy, back to poor again..I have been married and divorced twice..have 2 sons..one having Autism..and having gone through the loss of miscarriages and losing a baby at six months..I have experienced and lived so much..It feels like I have lived many life times in just this one..I have traveled..met so many people..after my second divorce I started work again..this time in Hotels..I was a front desk agent..anything I could do to support myself after so much loss..it became my passion as I met so many people and believe it or not helped many as you have no idea what you experience at a front desk of a hotel...I have helped people injured..women coming in crying at hiding from an abusive husband..suicidal people..desperate men..nasty people..wonderful people..it is truly a difficult job..but can be rewarding...I was then living in PA having lived there for 11 years..I moved back to NYC and now living in the Bronx with my brother..its been a full circle of events in my life..now not being in the best situation..I am trying now to make the best of it..and trying now to live my life in a way I want to live it..I am trying to start my own personal assisting business..now will start blogging here to give out what I know can be helpful to others..and have joined Keen..its a psychic reading website..but I am not psychic..I am an intuitive..a life coach..an adviser...I know I can help others in talking, writing and just being there for someone else..I have been through the ringer in life but I am not giving up..I am being the change within myself..and have learned so much from my mistakes, life experiences not too mention I research at length on many things...I am now going to try on here to give others answers about life..and guidance and just learning about yourself...to love yourself..and be the change that you wish to see change in this world..I thank you for reading and hope you will follow me on a journey..I believe sharing knowledge is the best education out there..and if there is anyone who needs an ear..has a question..needs advice..just write me...I will start writing on different topics..it will be a wide range..as that is me..having knowledge on many different things..as that is what I have experienced..a whole big mix of things in life....xo
