In The Cathedral - Fire

For this social lens series we are looking at religious sites and how people relate to these places.

Fire is often found in cathedrals or churches in the form of candles. In the midst of religious places they radiate warmth and light and may add to a spiritual atmosphere which often evoke calming and reflective feelings and thoughts in us.

These pictures are from two different cathedrals, albeit they seem to transform the visitor's feelings and mood just alike.

The low lighting conditions in the 2nd and 4th pictures make the place even that much warmer.
