I am not so certain the title of this post fully captures exactly what I wish to talk about but I guess I just have to make do.

So I dedicated this month to fully celebrate people that were born in the month with long epistles of what they mean to me, so you can imagine that I have been fully engaged in many birthdays this month.

This morning, at around 2.30am, I woke up to write a really long epistle about a wonderful friend celebrating his birthday today and after posting it I saw a whole lot of other comments by other people about this guy and the thing is everybody cannot be lying.

This situation got me thinking about what makes a man and what is the worth of a man and quite unsurprisingly I came to the conclusion that the people that a person has impacted or influenced or helped or be there for is the worth of a man, that is what makes a person.

It is really not what you have but what you have done with what you have. My father would always say, “It’s not what you know that matters but what you do with what you know.

You know, a colleague of mine died few days back and I can still feel tears at the corner of my eyes as I write this. He was a good man, a true leader and a rare gem. His death made me question myself on a lot of things, different people from everywhere just kept talking for almost three days straight on every social media imaginable on the impact he has had in their lives, personally and generally. In my opinion, though he was very young and not so wealthy, he died a rich old man, fulfilling purpose on earth.

So look in the mirror today and ask yourself those very important questions; who have I impacted with my life and I am not just talking of directly, I am also talking of indirectly. Are there people that can be thankful that I came into their lives? Did someone’s life get better because of me? Have I helped people? Have I used my position and resources to be a blessing to people?

Sometimes we have to do that serious and sincere and unpretentious soul searching. You might not have fed a nation but the little things we do matter a lot.

At the end of your stay on earth do you want to look back and be filled with regrets or do you want to look back and be fulfilled that your existence was a blessing? Trust me, the choice is absolutely yours.

I hope this meant something to you and if it did, don’t forget to upvote, comment and resteem. Much much loveeeeee people! Till next time.

Yes!!!

The true measure of a man is his deed....

By there seed we shall know them....

What will speak of a Man is what he sows....

That's it

I'm touched by this...We should all to our best to touch lives every single day on earth. Tomorrow's never promised.

Life is so short. At the end, I want to live a life I will be happy to remember.
A life that has given so much that it wont be afraid to leave the world.

Life is so short. It's valuable only while we live.

A popular songs says "only be remembered by the works he has done".........
yhu av said it all
