One of the major vices that are eroding morals in our society today is greed. Envy is also a fuel that intensifies greed. If everyone will be satisfied with his earnings and belongings, and he plans his expenditure within the confines of his worth, the world will be a safe place to live in.
On the other hand, most people want to portray lives beyond their financial states. Social media has been taken as a model of living for many. In the quest to meet up with these high standards, people adopt desperate means to make money. Means like cheating, robbery, prostitution, fraud, blackmail, ritual killings, and so on. People who live such lives are always under pressure to gain more wealth and thus, fall into all forms of troubles like debt, shame, imprisonment, and so on.

Contentment is not a license to mediocrity, neither is it a limitation to poverty or stagnation. It is simply an acceptance of what you're worth at a particular moment and living within that worth, while you make reasonable efforts to get better.
I hereby counsel that you live life in moderation and in contentment. Do not envy the wealthy and do not be in a rush to make money. It comes with many troubles and pain. Contentment comes with peace, joy and satisfaction.
