If you keep the score of how well your life is lived by how much money you or someone has you're going to miss out on parts of life that are priceless.

Endgame is death. Too many people die when they retire. Purpose of life is to have it be meaningful by growing both spiritually and emotionally so that you connect more deeply and in a loving way with people that are in your life and the people whose lives you have the opportunity to influence. Money is one part of it though there are plenty of people with huge amounts of money that are miserable.
