One of the best ways to get to know someone's internal world is by looking at their social media.
Their social media is a platform where they have complete power.
They get to make the rules & shed their real life opinions.
So the question is, what are they saying?
If you follow a ton of people on social media, you'll notice its mainly negative.
They pretty much use Twitter as a diary where they cry and act like the world is ending.
Not sure how you found this steemit blog post, but if it was from my Twitter, understand that we are the minority.
In the Universe of Twitter, our self improvement niche is simply a moon.
But the other planets?
Solar systems?
Galaxies?
Trolls, whiners & victims.
I have Universal Hustle Affiliato Twttier & I have a personal one where I use to catch up with a few old friends.
And every time I log into my personal account, it seems like they are upset by something.
'Can't believe Trump tweeted this year.'
'We live in such a racist world.'
'I am so oppressed.'
Blah blah blah.
All tweets talking about others.
They routinely take the bait of the latest sensationalist headline the mainstream media throws out & are too unaware to even tell.
All tweets being written out & subtly reprogramming their subconscious mind.
And that polluted subconscious mind jades their conscious thoughts.
That's why we live in the outrage culture.
Negativity is nowadays able to spread at scale.
In this blog post, I keep it real.
Want to drop some reality for you.
There's the wind & the sailor.
The sailor riding his ship along a smooth sea.
Out of nowhere, the clouds get dark & the the rain starts pouring in.
Wind, lightning & a whole lot of waves.
The sailor is losing control of the ship!
But now is 100% locked in because he knows losing control will be the end of his life.
He focuses, gets back control & maneuvers around the waves.
Soon enough, the waves die off & he gets back on track.
The wind is the external world.
The sailor is you.
The external world will never be predictable.
It's always going to have an element of surprise.
Sometimes, the surprise will favor you.
Sometimes, it will not.
But ultimately, you need to take care of business anyways.
I say all that to say this.
You need to focus on your focus.
Not sure if you are aware.
But the world is being designed to capture your attention.
The mainstream media designs shock headlines to get you to react & reel you in like a fish.
Marketing companies point out your pain points to get you to buy.
And most showcase the best part of their lives to feel a sense of fulfillment unknowingly (or knowingly) sparking some hidden jealousy from you.
If you are going to take the bait each time & react, then the winds control you.
If you are unphased by the winds & use it as an opportunity to become a better sailor, then you will grow.
The world lacks skilled sailors.
So become one.
Don't be the person whining about shit that doesn't have an impact on their life.
Rather, work towards something.
Success is defined as having an idea of where your're going and making incremental progress everyday.
So make the progress.
While everyone is caught up in the noise, build your legacy.
The small wins will add up.
And soon, you'll have a big win that will have the world thinking that you were an 'overnight success.'
