We all struggle to stay motivated sometimes.

It is easy to find yourself in this situation when you feel lonely, discouraged and believe in the negative that other people say about you.

Everyone has been through this situation and it is very normal. Do not worry.

What is important is that once you have it, you recognize it and solve the problem.

Therefore, we want to give you some tips to keep the subject in the gray periods.

1. Avoid speculation and focus on facts


When you're unmotivated, it's very easy to see things in gray and black.

It's important to understand that you go through a hard time so you should not play guess games. Try to see the facts for what they really are.

If you find yourself discouraged by your relationship, avoid looking at the possible realities and focus on what you know.

This means that if you know you really love your partner, you will find that your problem will be a solution. Then you start moving away from the gray area.

When this happens, you start to see that your problems are getting smaller. This will of course encourage you because you know you have a solution.

2. Understand that you are only human


Many times it's easy to believe that when you make a mistake everything else goes wrong.

However, this is not the case. You are only human. You should give yourself a chance to make a mistake.

In addition, how will you otherwise learn if you do not mistake once in a while?

Errors are teaching in disguise. Try to see them objectively, learn to reduce them and continue.

When you feel discouraged because you were not right turn around and look at the long way you traveled to get there where you are today.

In this way you will be ready to return to the battlefield and continue to promote your goals.

Stop requiring everything you think you need to be happier, more beautiful, more successful or whatever you are looking for.

If what causes your lack of motivation is a very serious mistake, then give yourself time to solve it. Come on then.

3. Get a daily dose of motivation


It is impossible to be motivated 24 hours a day. However, it is possible to motivate yourself once a day. A good starting point is to make a list of all the things you have achieved.

You will not want to do it every day so you have to make extra effort.

On the best days, this list will make things very simple. You may not even need a piece of paper to fill your mind with positive thoughts.

But on those days when you can not think of a single thing that motivates you, this is the way you most need it. Be prepared to work on this list in these times.

When done, you can see everything you've done and you'll feel inspired.

If at any time it feels like there is nothing to be grateful or good about, check your notes from the previous days.

It may be that what you think is missing is right in front of you.

4. Take a break


Many times, it is difficult to remain motivated when you are overtaken with information or can not get a break.

Taking a break from something that does not help you stay motivated is not a bad thing: actually it's extremely useful.

It does not mean that the things that counteract you also make you unhappy. Nor does it mean that the things you thought were important are not. You just need a break.

When you feel like this, go for a walk, watch a movie or read a good book. Do all you need, even if that's the opposite is what to do.

This will help you recharge the batteries. When you return, you will see everything in a clearer way. You get ready to keep yourself motivated without even realizing it.

5. Recognize when you need help

While learning to motivate yourself and find encouragement from within is good, it's also true that sometimes you can not do it alone.

The reason for this is so simple that it may not work properly: your mind is so clever that it sometimes acknowledges that you lack motivation and create obstacles to prevent it.

Unlike depression when there is a need for consultation with a psychologist, a lack of motivation can be combated with friends, partners or family members.

Do not be afraid to ask for this help. You are surprised to find out that there are many people out there who are willing to give you a hand.

Learn to motivate yourself

Not everyone is the same, so there is no exact mathematical formula for self-motivation. Therefore, you should try to get to know yourself as well as possible.

Take time to understand what moves you, what scares you wherever you want and how you will get there. The answer to these questions will give you the keys to managing the times when you need to motivate yourself.

Keep in mind that, although lack of motivation is part of the learning process, it should not be extended. Do not let yourself get caught in this state of mind.
