How You See The World Depends On You!

in life •  7 years ago  (edited)

One of the biggest responsibilities of an artist is not to make things look beautiful, but to change the perception of the people, how they see things both emotionally and physically.

The words we can't speak are the words we can draw. And these words can make a huge impact on the world.

Think of a bee, a bee settling on a flower might have stung a person. The person fears the bee and thinks of it as a stinging creature. A photographer will admire the bee, sipping honey from the flower, and might take a beautiful picture of the process that we all will admire. A beekeeper feels the work of the bee is to gather honey and feed the young ones, to increase their population. A botanist will say that the objective of the bee is to fertilise the flowers.

So, it depends up on you how you choose to see the world.

You can find beauty in every object if you look at everything without any pre-defined opinion.

Leonardo Da Vinci and Pablo Picasso are two of the most famous artists who changed the way how people looked at things. Leonardo Da Vinci proved that even a simple painting of women could be the world's most famous painting, while Pablo Picasso showed the truth of war to the world.

Thousands of children had died in Syria, but nobody noticed it until a journalist clicked the picture of Alan Kurdi and renowned artist made sand art of his body lying on the beach. The responsibility of an artist is to make sure that the world notices the things, which otherwise are going unnoticed.

Today, I have made two sketches for my friend @donkeypong, not only to show my appreciation for his contribution in steemit, but also to give a message to the whole steemit community that if we see things from a different perspective, everything will be beautiful.

Nobody will think about a donkey when we talk about most beautiful animals in the world. While making this sketch I have realized that the donkey is not an ugly animal, but we have made our perception to see it as an ugly animal. If we see it from a different perspective, it can be one of the most beautiful and lovely animals of the world.

@donkeypong hope you like my sketches and if you like them, please consider using one of them as your profile picture.
