Winterly dawn in Austria/Winterliche Morgendämmerung in Österreich

How can I focus on work with this amazing sunrise in front of my office window? ;-) There are always the most impressive sunsrises and sunsets in Austria at this time of the year. If you ask yourself "Winter in Austria without snow, what's going on?!" Well, many people don't know that we have a very special climate here in the southeasternmost part of the county, called "illyrian climate". It is influenced even by the mediterranean sea. It brings more sunshine and higher temperatures throughout the whole year, so even in Winter there is often still rain instead of snow. Good for those who don't like winter anyway, like me :-)

Wie soll ich mich nur auf die Arbeit konzentrieren, bei diesem traumhaften Sonnenaufgang vor meinem Bürofenster? ;-) Um diese Jahreszeit gibt es immer die schönsten Sonnenauf und -untergänge in Österreich. Wenn ihr euch jetzt fragt "Winter in Österreich und kein Schnee, was ist da los?!" Viele Leute wissen nicht, dass wir ein ganz besonderes Klima, hier im südöstlichsten Teil des Landes haben, das so genannte "Illyrische Klima". Es wird sogar vom Mittelmeer beeinflusst und bringt mehr Sonnenschein und höhere Temperaturen das ganze Jahr über. Deshalb gibt es sogar im Winter oft Regen statt Schnee. Gut für diejenigen, die den Winter sowieso nicht mögen, so wie ich :-)
